WLC Overview

In 1997 the first learning cohort began, called Women in Leadership: A Community Exploring the Path of Wisdom or WIL. In 1998 we formed a 501C3 non-profit organization called the Center for Emerging Leadership (CEL) to house this program.

In 2007 the group adopted a new name, The Women's Leadership Community (WLC), to reflect our ongoing community of practice that has emerged over the last 10 years. We have a core group of seasoned facilitators who facilitate the WLC Retreat Series and a board of directors that sponsor, organize and manage ongoing alumnae activities and learning events.
